Hong Kong PhD Fellowship
Established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong in 2009, the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) aims at attracting the best and brightest students in the world to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong's universities. The Fellowship provides an annual stipend of HK$301,200 (approximately US$38,600) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$12,600 (approximately US$1,600) per year for each awardee for a period up to three years. For awardees who need more than three years to complete the PhD degree, additional support may be provided by the chosen universities. Applicants should demonstrate outstanding qualities of academic performance, research ability / potential, communication and interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities. Research studentship
Multiple new MPhil and PhD scholarships are available now. The studentship is a scholarship intended as a means of financial support to allow full-time research students to fully focus on their studies. It is awarded on the basis of academic merit. The current Studentship is around HK$18,100 per month.
Research Assistant/ Postdoctoral fellow
The initial appointment is generally six months or one year. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. The salary will be commensurate with experience.
